Winchester police challenged

The Winchester City Police Department has been challenged to a benefit basketball game by the Life in the Word Church of Jesus Christ's "Soldier Boys for Christ."

The game will be held at 8 p.m. June 20 at the Admiral Byrd Middle School, 134 Rosa Lane, Winchester.

Proceeds will go to the "Timbrook Food Bank" and the church and its youth department.

Tickets are available in advance from 1 to 4 p.m. June 14.
