Police log: Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office
The followng incidents and arrests were reported by the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office: Assault and battery On June 23, deputies arrested Gregory S. Heckler of New Market on a charge of assault and battery. Court date: 11 a.m. July 18 in Shenandoah County General District Court. This incident occurred on June 9. Drunk in public: On June 24, deputies arrested Daniel Richard Burner of Toms Brook on a charge of appearing drunk in public. Court date: 11 a.m. July 18. Distribute a Schedule I or II controlled substance: On June 23, Shenandoah County investigators arrested Dwayne Thomas Fletcher of Edinburg on a charge of distributing a Schedule I or II controlled substance. Court date: 9 a.m. July 25 in Shenandoah County General District Court. Malicious wounding: On June 25, deputies arrested Michael Anthony Blackmon of Odenton, Md., on a charge of malicious wounding. Court date is pending in Shenandoah County General District Court. This incident occurred on Feb. 3. Assault and battery on a family member: On June 26, deputies arrested Dustin Ray Morris of Strasburg on a charge of assault and battery on a household member. Court date: 9 a.m. July 10 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court. Possession of marijuana: On June 25, deputies arrested Luis Velasquez of Woodstock on a charge of possession of marijuana. Court date: 9 a.m. July 18 in Shenandoah County General District Court. Possession of marijuana: One June 27, deputies arrested Jermaine Fontain Jones of Berryville on a charge of possession of marijuana. Court date: 11 a.m. July 11 in Shenandoah County General District Court. Drunk in public, underage possession of alcohol: On June 28, deputies arrested a Woodstock man on a charge of appearing drunk in public and underage possession of alcohol. Court date: 2 p.m. July 25 in Shenandoah County General District Court. Petit larceny: On June 24, it was reported that someone removed a Virginia State Inspection sticker from a vehicle while it was parked at a business on Old Valley Pike in Woodstock. Larceny: On June 26, it was reported that someone removed a license plate from a vehicle while it was parked at a business on Old Valley Pike in Woodstock. Larceny: On June 28, it was reported that someone removed a motorcycle part from a residence on Alonzaville Road in Woodstock. Larceny: One June 27, it was reported that someone removed a license plate from a vehicle while it was parked at a business located on Old Valley Pike in Woodstock.
