Police log: Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office
The following incidents and arrests were reported by the Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office: Larceny, vandalism: On June 30, someone removed items from outside of a school on Caverns Road in Mt. Jackson. Larceny: On June 30, someone removd the license plate from a vehicle parked at the intersection of Mt. Olive Road and Interstate 81 in Toms Brook. Breaking and entering, larceny, vandalism: One June 30, someone entered a home on Old Valley Pike and took a backpack containing cash, keys and prescription drugs. A drop box on the property was damaged. Breaking and entering: On June 27 , someone took a television and VCR from a home located on Fairway Drive in Basye. Assault and battery on a family member: On July 5, deputies arrested Robert D. Morrison of Edinburg on a charge of assault and battery on a family member. Morrison was also arrested on a charge of violating a protective order. Court date: 9 a.m. July 17 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court. Larceny: One July 6, someone broke into several vehicles parked on South Middle Road. Cash and an MP3 player were stolen. Larceny: One July 5, someone stole a 2003 Honda Ranchero 4-wheeler from a home on Pine Grove Road in Srasburg.
