Indictments in public corruption case to be announced today

CHARLOTTESVILLE -- Acting U.S. Attorney Julia C. Dudley is calling a press conference at 2 p.m. today at the Federal Court Building to unseal two indictments related to a public corruption case.

Officials with the U.S. Attorney's Office would not say whether the indictments are related to a federal probe into a cockfighting operation in Page County and decline further comment.
