The Virginia Department of Transportation has closed Route 758 (Woodstock Tower Road) east of Woodstock in Shenandoah County due tto ice buildup on the road, according to a press release issued this morning.
The road was closed at 4 a.m., and will reopen once VDOT determines the road can be safely opened.
STAUNTON - Icy precipitation is expected in the Shenandoah Valley from late Monday night to early Wednesday morning. Virginia Department of Transportation crews are pre-treating roads with an anti-icing agent in certain areas of Augusta County.
