Christopher Andrew Thompson, 24, of 2413 Papermill Road, has been charged with object sexual penetration, two charges of forcible sodomy and one charge of aggravated sexual battery. Thompson, 24, was arrested at his residence following a surveillance operation conducted by Winchester Police and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force. The charges stem from an investigation in May 2007 when police received a report that the child had been sexually assaulted during April and May 2007. The child told a relative, who reported it to police. A Winchester grand jury indicted Thompson in October 2007, and he had been considered as a fugitive since then. He was listed on the police department's "most wanted" section of its Web site at www.winchesterpolice.org
