Front Royal police arrest shoplifting suspects

(From a press release) FRONT ROYAL -- Front Royal police have made arrests in what they are calling a regional shoplifting ring that targeted several stores in the area, including the Martins Grocery Store on South Street.

"Through a combined effort of local jurisdictions within the region," the release states, "police have arrested 32-year-old Marlon Tuppince and 18-year-old William Lewis of Manassas and 25-year -ld Shane Westfall of Fairfax."

The three suspects have been charged with felony grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny. They are being held in the Prince William County Adult Detention Center.

The press release also states that Front Royal police have obtained petitions against a 17-year-old juvenile from Manassas in connection with the shoplifting ring. The juvenile is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center in Prince William County.
