Winchester police seek man who robbed United Bank
(From a press release) WINCHESTER -- Police are seeking a man who robbed the United Bank at 1041 Berryville Ave., at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Winchester police said the bank manager told them that the man entered the bank, presented a note and showed a weapon.
"The manager complied and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money," according to a press release issued Saturday afternoon.
The suspect, last seen in the parking lot behind the bank, is described as being a white male, 6'0, approximately 30 - 40 years of age, 175 - 190 pounds, with a reddish mustache and beard. He was wearing a white T-shirt, an Army green coat, blue jeans, a baseball hat, and dark sunglasses over prescription glasses.
Winchester police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force are investigating the robbery.
