Police seek suspect in attempted rape, abduction

WINCHESTER -- Police were called to a residence on Molden Drive this morning to investigate an attempted rape and abduction.

According to a report issued today, Winchester police arrived at the scene around 4 a.m. and were told the suspect had fled on foot. They searched the area, but the suspect was not found. The female victim was treated at the Winchester Medical Center for injuries.
