Man arrested on weapons charges

WINCHESTER - Winchester police reported today that Craig A. Belight, 34, of no fixed address in Winchester, has been charged with brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.

According a press release:

At approximately 4:32 p.m. on June 4, 2009 the Winchester Police Department responded to a report of a brandishing of a firearm in the 500 block of York Ave. As the officers arrived on the scene they were able to detain the suspect. Interviews were conducted with the victim and witnesses that led to the arrest of the suspect. A .40-caliber handgun was seized at the scene. The victim and suspect are acquaintances. There were no injuries as a result of the incident with the involved.
