WINCHESTER -- Winchester police report an armed robbery occurred early today at the 7-Eleven at 715 S. Braddock St. Police responded to the convenience store at 12:48 a.m. Here's what happened, according to a press release issued by police today: "One suspect entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money from the clerk. Once the suspect received the money the male fled the store. A Police K-9 was called to the scene. The search yielded negative results. " The suspect was a black male in his early to mid-20s. He was 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighed about 175 pounds. He was waring a dark hooded sweatshirt. A bandana covered his face.
