Wi-Fi security - hackers out there waiting for you

| Comments (0)
|

The FBI is warning computer users who work on their laptops in one of the 68,000 Wi-Fi "hot spots" in the country to be aware that a hacker may be lurking nearby.

These hackers, the FBI says, want to access your personal information so that they can get into your bank account or access other sensitive information.

The FBI says these hackers will visit a "hot spot" and set up a fake secure network with a strong signal. When you connect to that signal, you open the door to the hacker. For more info on Wi-Fi security, visit this FBI Web page.
