Handley advances; Stonewall waits

According to Daily assistant sports editor Tommy Keeler, the Handley Judges girls tennis team has advanced to the championship, which will be played Saturday morning at 9 a.m. The Judges will play either Spotswood or Hidden Valley in a question for their third straight state title.

The Stonewall Jackson Generals boys soccer team, however, must wait a day for its semifinal match against George Mason. Rain postponed all field events held at Radford. Stonewall will now play at 2 p.m. on Saturday with the finals set to take place on Sunday.
