Region B softball

A handful of area girls made the all-Region B softball team, which was announced Tuesday.

Clarke County's Tara Fields (outfield) and Brianna Smith (At-Large) made the first team. Strasburg's Jaclyn Ayers (outfield) and Clarke County's Jordan Wolford (pitcher) made second team.

Strasburg's Bethany Fauber was placed on the honorable mention region team.

Hmm. Where's Bethany Doman? Lauren Stickles? Sam Herndon? And Wolford on the second team? Admittedly, I didn't see every player in the region, but I'm a little surprised more local girls didn't get the recognition they deserved.
