Now that the dust is settled, how did we do with the Spring All-Area Teams? Was there a player or coach left out for top overall honors? Someone that should've been considered for one of the soccer, baseball, softball, track or tennis teams? We'd love to hear from you.
Just be nice ... at least somewhat.
I am not sure how voting is done for overall honors or honorable mentions. I would like to direct you to Maxpreps.com for Clarke County Eagles-Young Freshman Drew Paice should have earned an honorable mention.
Drew Paice had a better batting average, OBP, SLG, Fielding Percentage than that of other individual(s) who received honorable mentions. As a Freshman pitcher he was second in innings pitched with 39 strike-outs (15 in one game). I would think impressive for a Freshman facing experienced UPPERclassmen opponents.
