Athletes of the Year

Each year The Daily selects the top Boys and Girls athlete for the entire school year. There are several factors weighed, such as statistical performance, team accomplishments, all-district, all-region and all-state recognition, number of sports played, etc. It's not a perfect science, and this year we really struggled with our choices, but we've made our final decisions.

Our Athlete of the Year stories will run in Friday's print edition of The Daily.

So who did we pick?

Hint: They both attend Shenandoah County schools.
