Kelley Washington gets a boost?
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason is retiring at 35 years old and 12 years in the NFL. This leaves the Ravens with Mark Clayton, Demetrius Williams and Stephens City native Kelley Washington as the top pass catchers remaining. Washington made it clear when he signed that he expected to be highly involved in the Ravens' passing game after spending a couple years starring as a special teamer.
You gotta think the Ravens will bring in a few more bodies to compete, but if Washington is in top condition, Mason's decision could make Washington's role bigger than even he anticipated.
