(From a press release) Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to noon on June 7 to participate in the annual Chesapeake Bay Foundation Trash Cleanup at Raymond R. "Andy" Guest, Jr. / Shenandoah River State Park.
Volunteers will pick up trash while strolling along or floating on the river. Kayaks and canoes will be provided. Call or stop by to register no later than 8:30 a.m. on June 7.
All parking and boat usage free during the event for volunteers. For more details, call the park at (540) 622-6840.
