(From a press release) MentorMatch Winchester is a new mentoring service for foster care and court-involved youth in the Winchester and Frederick County area.
Adults ages 18 and older are brought together with a youth needing mentoring for two hours a week.
MentorMatch Winchester provides the screening, training, matching and managing the program. Mentors and youths participate in traditional one-on-one mentoring: they do everything from throwing a Frisbee in the park to studying for a test to preparing for a job interview.
