The Leather and Lace Country Western Dance Club holds dances on the first Saturday and third Friday of each month at the Dayton Learning Center on Mill Street in Dayton. Lessons are from 8 to 9 p.m., followed by open dancing from 8 to 11 p.m. The annual barn dance will be held today, including carry-in dinner with a Country Western theme. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Entrance fee is $4 for members, $6 for nonmembers and $5 for students. Call 568-8315 for more information.

An open bluegrass jam, featuring acoustic instruments only, will be held at 7 p.m. at the Edinburg VFW. Proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.
