Today is Mother's Day

Lisa's Catering is sponsoring a Mother's Day dinner that will benefit the Relay for Life of Warren County Relay team. "Hit cancer out of the ballpark" will be conducting a bake sale during this event. The roast beef and chicken dinner will be held from noon to 3 today at the Bethel Community Center. Cost: $8.50 for adults, $6.50 for children under 10.

Take mom to breakfast today! The Toms Brook Volunteer Fire Department is serving an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Fire Hall.

If mom is into gardening, take her to the Garden Fair at Blandy Experimental Farm in Boyce this weekend. The fair takes place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Activities include a plant and garden supply sale, crafts, nature walks and Arboretum tours. There will be around 100 craft, plant and food vendors at the fair.
