The Frederick County Rotary Club's fifth annual charity Croquet & Family Fun Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 21 at Sherando park in Stephens City. Activities include pony rides, tethered hot air balloon rides, children's games, car show, live music, food and croquet. Tickets available at all Handymarts and at the door - $10 for a family (up to 5 members).
The 8th annual Shenandoah Valley Powwow will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the powwow grounds located of Interstate 81, exit 269 (Shenandoah Caverns). Admission is $6 adults; children 12 and under free.
