Grammy-award winner Kathy Mattea will open the summer season at the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival at 8 p.m. at Orkney Springs. Tickets are $33 for the pavilion and $28 for lawn seating. They are available online at www.musicfest.org or by calling 459-3396 or (800) 459-3396.
The Rhonda Sager Trio will perform from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Mimslyn Inn at 401 W. Main St. in Luray. Call 743-5105 for information and reservations.
