The Woodstock-Edinburg Little League will hold its opening day ceremonies 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds.
Players will walk in a Little League parade past the grandstand. Central assistant JV softball coach Jamie Nichols will be the featured speaker. She will throw the ceremonial first pitch of the season.
Woodstock Boy Scout Troops will present colors and Debbie Cummins will sing the national anthem.
The public is invited to the ceremonies. Gates open at 9 a.m.
Opening day games will be held at Riverview Park off Cemetery Road east of Woodstock starting at 2 p.m. The day will culminate with an interleague softball game with Mt. Jackson at 8 p.m. under the lights.
