WOODSTOCK -- Food Lion will hold a grand re-opening celebration today for its store at 1029 S. Main St.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. Local municipal and business leaders are scheduled to be on hand.
The store will be offering samples in each department throughout the day, as well as serving refreshments to those in attendance.
The renovated Food Lion features an expanded fresh produce and deli/bakery, an expanded fresh market, and fresh floral department, as well as Western Union, Rug Doctor rentals and a Coinstar machine.
"We have worked hard to make our store here more attractive and provide an enhanced shopping experience," says J.J. Fleeman, Food Lion's vice president of northeastern markets. "The new and more inviting interior design signifies our commitment to offer the freshest produce, the best quality meats and an expanded selection."
