MIDDLETOWN -- Lord Fairfax Community College's Office of Workforce Solutions and Continuing Education will offer a free workshop to area businesses and organizations on March 19
The workshop, titled "Leading in Turbulent Times," will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Middletown Campus, 173 Skirmisher Lane. A continental breakfast will be provided.
The workshop will focus on current business issues and trends and the skills leaders need in today's rapidly changing work environment, according to an LFCC press release. The event will be presented by Jane Whitmore of Development Dimensions International. Attendees will experience parts of more in-depth DDI courses, including Leading Change, Motivating Others, Rapid Decision Making and Retaining Talent.
Registration is required by Tuesday. Organizers recommend registering early as space is limited.
