WINCHESTER -- Composite decking, railing and fencing manufacturer Trex will roll into Winchester on Sunday with an interactive and educational mobile unit.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lowe's store on South Pleasant Valley Road.
With Earth Day still fresh in consumers' minds, the company is encouraging local residents to bring along plastic grocery bags, which are used in Trex's manufacturing process, for a recycling drive.
Visitors can enjoy a cookout complete with music, raffle prizes and Trex-branded goodies.
In addition, consumers can gain inspiration for their own outdoor living spaces through product displays, computer kiosks with which to experiment with Trex's online deck design tools, and expert advice on Trex products, installation, maintenance and more.
