Virginia’s second Hurricane Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday will take place May 25-31.
Throughout the week, generators costing $1,000 or less and 22 other emergency products selling for $60 or less, including batteries, flashlights and bottled water, will be exempt from the 5 percent state and local retail sales tax.
