WINCHESTER -- The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber will host a listening session on Thursday at 6 p.m. for residents and business owners to comment on the U.S. Postal Service's proposal to move the bulk mail facility in Winchester to Dulles.
Speakers for the event, to be held at the Old Town Event Center at 403 S. Loudoun St., include Tim Stowe, chairman of the chamber's board of directors; Cindy Pease, bulk mail manager from the Merrifield facility; as well as other postal officials.
The floor will be open for comments from the audience, and all discussion will be recorded and presented to USPS, along with the petition the regional chamber put forward last month.The online petition currently has 254 signatures. To sign on, go to www.petitiononline.com/Bulkmail/
