Tractor Supply Co. announced Tuesday that construction has begun on stores in Luray and Moorefield, W.Va.
The Moorefield store, at 747 N. Main St., will be Tractor Supply's 17th West Virginia location. It is scheduled to open in August.
The Luray location, on U.S. 211-340 west of town, will be the company's 31st in Virginia. It is scheduled for completion in September.
The Moorefield store will measure 22,141 square feet, while the Luray location will be a little smaller, at 18,408 square feet. Both will include sales floor and support service space. A fenced exterior space will be built for storage and display of items such as fencing, sprayers and livestock equipment.
