BASYE — Bryce Resort has launched a series of marketing initiatives in an effort to jump-start home sales in the area and increase tourism in Shenandoah County.
The new Bryce Resort Membership Available Home Sales program allows homeowners selling their Basye area homes to include the Bryce membership initiation fee in the sale price of the home. Sellers can promote resort membership as part of the package, and Bryce, in turn, will advertise and promote the program throughout Northern Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland.
“Homeowners receive additional marketing support in selling their homes, while the resort attracts families seeking the full experience of resort living in Shenandoah County,” Bryce Resort general manager Sally Montrey says in a press release.
The resort also is launching the first-ever Bryce Resort & Shenandoah County Travel Guide. The publication will be printed twice each year beginning this fall.
The guide will feature winter and summer activities at Bryce, including coupons for discounts on mid-week skiing and golf at the resort. It also will feature top attractions in Shenandoah County, including a “What’s Happening” section covering the towns of Strasburg, Woodstock, Edinburg, Mount Jackson and New Market.
Coupons can be redeemed by guests at Bryce, visitors to Shenandoah County or by county residents.
More than 30,000 guides will be produced each year, and will be available at Bryce, area hotels and motels, restaurants and shops, and at any location requesting the free guide for distribution.
