WOODSTOCK — First Bank will operate three branches in town following its planned acquisition of the StellarOne office on West Reservoir Road.
The deal, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close on or around Nov. 6.
Following the sale, First Bank’s North Woodstock branch at 496 N. Main St. will become an express office dedicated to processing transactions, the company said this week. Both the lobby and drive-through areas will remain open.
Services at the bank’s South Woodstock branch at 860 S. Main St. will continue without change.
All new account services, account maintenance, CD renewals and loans, as well as trust and investment services, will be available at the South Woodstock and West Reservoir Road locations, the company said.
Maxine Minton, StellarOne’s assistant branch manager in Woodstock, will join First Bank and continue to manage the location after the acquisition is complete, the company said. Offers of employment have also been extended to other current StellarOne employees.
Kim Ryman will continue to serve as First Bank’s Woodstock area manager, responsible for leadership and oversight of the three branches.
