Winchester holiday house tours

The Preservation of Historic Winchester will host the following schedule of events in conjunction with their Holiday House Tour.

Dec. 7, 10 a.m. to noon - Start the weekend at the Bough and Dough Shop at the Winchester Little Theatre and learn how to make a wreath. You will make 2 wreaths, one to take home and one to sell in the store. The class is free and materials will be provided. Bring your own gloves and trimmers.

Dec. 7, 6 to 9 p.m. - Preview Party and Candlelight tour of seven homes on South Stewart and Washington Streets, Winchester. RSVP required for this event, purchase tickets by December 6 to secure a spot. $40 for PHW members, $50 for non-members.

Dec. 8, noon to 5 p.m. - Bough and Dough Shop opens.

Dec. 8, 1 to 5 p.m. - Daylight Tours of six home on South Steward St. and Washington St. $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Single admission to one house is $5 at the door.

Buy tickets starting Nov. 18 at Kimberly's, Winchester Book Gallery, Wilkin's Shoe Center, Oak Crest, Winchester-Frederick County Convention and Visitors Center, PHW office at the Hexagon House or online at www.phwi.org.
