Aug. 30: 10 a.m.: The Patsy Cline Music Festival will begin at 10 a.m. with a block party at the Patsy Cline Historic House, 608 S. Kent St., Winchester. Music by Liz Ruffner, Springfield Exit an Elvis impersonator, crafts, souvenirs and food will be available. The Patsy Cline house will be open for $5 per person.
At 7 p.m. the Rivers Edge Band will perform at Bridgeforth Field in Jim Barnett Park. Jimmy Fortune, formerly of the Statler Brothers, will perform at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the evening concert will be $25 in advance for adults, $20 for active military, $10 for children 12 and under accompanied by an adult. Tickets at the gate are $30. Purchase tickets beginning July 1 through Brown Paper Tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/744942. Proceeds will benefit the Patsy Cline Historic House and the Make A Wish Foundation.
