Hoax explosive device leads to evacuation of school

January 27, 2017

Warren County High School was evacuated around noon Friday after a “suspected explosive device” was located in the school, according to a news release from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Institute to partner with Wilson College

Students at Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, will have the opportunity to take part in conservation-specific courses through Front Royal’s Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute due to a gift from a mutual donor and alumnus of Wilson College. Those who take part will be able to do so free of charge, with a scholarship-like structure.

Shenandoah University reveals economic impact study results

WINCHESTER — Shenandoah University revealed the results of its most recent economic impact study Friday. The study examines and determines the amount of money and jobs indirectly generated or directly created by the university. TischlerBise, a company that specializes in economic consulting, conducted the study.
