Black and white photographs are preferable, although high-quality color prints are acceptable.

Accounts of weddings that occurred more than 30 days previously will be published in an abbreviated form without a picture in Neighborhood Notebook.

Birth announcements

Birth announcements must be submitted within 30 days of the event. They will be published in the paper at no charge.

Information supplied should include the name of the father and mother and where they live, the name of the baby, when the baby was born, the baby's sex and the name of the hospital. Names of grandparents may also be included along with where they live. Because of space limitations, siblings will not be mentioned in announcements.
