We welcome reader comments on our Web sites as long as they follow our policy, which is outlined below. Comments will appear online after they have been approved. We typically clear comments during office hours Monday - Friday.

We will delete comments that we feel are inappropriate, and we will ban readers who repeatedly abuse our policy. We also will delete a comment if it contains a word or sentence that we feel violates our policy - we will not edit comments. (An example - we automatically delete comments that contain a Web or e-mail address.) Avoid accusations, name calling, personal attacks and including too much personal information about yourself or someone else - we may find too much personal information inappropriate for posting on our Web site.

Comments Policy

We reserve the right to delete comments that contain the following:

• Personal attacks, insults
• Too much personal information about yourself or someone else
• Information that we have not yet reported on
• Web site links
• Telephone numbers, e-mail or physical addresses
• Profanity, potentially libelous, racist or offensive language
• Plagiarism
• Content from other sources that go beyond a brief quote or a sentence. We will not violate the copyright of another source. If you do quote another source, the source of the quote must be identified.
• Advertising
• Multiple posts with the same content
• Content that strays from the topic of the story it's posted on
• Posts that are IN ALL CAPS

We reserve the right to end your access to our commenting platform if you:

• Provide false, inaccurate or misleading information.
• Provide information that is harmful to minors.
• Post advertisements in the commenting area.
• Post comments that are harassing, harmful, threatening, hateful, libelous or obscene.
• Misrepresent yourself or impersonate another user.

Registration required

You must register to post a comment, a review, sign up for an e-mail newsletter or enter a Club Clickit drawing. Here's how:

Step 1: Click on the SIGN IN OR REGISTER HERE link.
Step 2: An e-mail confirming your registration will be e-mailed to you. Open that e-mail and click on the link provided to confirm your registration.

On all sections but Club Clickit, we now accept usernames from outside services such as Facebook, Google, Yahoo.
