WCDS students earn third place in Wildlife Presentation contest

Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly announced it participated in the North American Envirothon Competition on April 23 and was awarded third place in the Wildlife Presentation competition.

Participants from across the region competed in environmental education programs in a competition organized by the National Conservation Foundation that attracts more than 4,000 private and public schools nationwide.

WCDS students Lucas DuMez, Kim Pankow, Vitasta Vyas, Carolina Leonard, Brier Clough and Angel Chiu represented the school at this year’s event.
