The Fort Valley community Thanksgiving service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the Fort Valley Church of God. Those attending are asked to bring food items for the Matthews Food Pantry. Information: 540-933-6140.


Zion Lutheran Church will hold a service of praise and thanksgiving with Holy Communion at 7 p.m. today at 321 Headquarters Road, Edinburg.

The United Way Rubbermaid product sale will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Belk parking lot at Apple Blossom Mall, Winchester.

This month’s sale will benefit Healthy Families of Shenandoah County and the Dental Clinic of Northern Shenandoah Valley.
