NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups, for adults with various types of mental illnesses and are guided by National Alliance on Mental Illness certified peer facilitators, will hold the following meetings:

Luray/Page County: first and third Tuesdays, 6:30-8 p.m., Page Memorial Hospital, 200 Memorial Drive. Park and enter at the main entrance, turn left to the Administrative Board Room and look for meeting sign.

• The Brain Injury Support Group will meet 6:30-8:00 p.m. January 18 at the Shenandoah University Health Professions Building, 1849 Amherst Street in Winchester. Rappahannock Electric Cooperative’s The Power of Change application is now available online at thepowerofchange.org or at any REC office. Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply for funds that have been donated by REC customers.
The Frederick County Extension office will host a two-day ServSafe Manager’s Course from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Feb. 23 at MidAtlantic Farm Credit in Winchester. Cost is $150 if received by a Feb. 2 deadline and groups of 10 or more pay a reduced rate. Information/registration: 540-665-5699.
The library will be closed Monday, January 15th for Martin Luther King Day. The library will resume regular hours Tuesday, January 16th.

The Strasburg Chamber of Commerce will host Women In Business luncheon, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. January 17 at the Historical Homemaker Bakery and Cafe, next to the Emporium in Strasburg. Women of all levels of business are welcome to attend and Chamber membership is not required. Non-members may attend for $10 plus the cost of their lunch; Chamber members pay only for their lunch.
