The Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg is collecting Valentine’s Day cards for the sixth year in a row for veterans at the Martinsburg VA hospital. In past years, cards have been made by Sunday school groups, preschool classes, and scout troops. Drop off your handmade or store bought cards with words of support and encouragement by Friday and HIS, a homeschool support group based in Edinburg, will hand deliver the cards to sick and injured veterans at the hospital.
