Barbecue, egg hunt

The Edinburg VFW chicken barbecue scheduled for Saturday has been canceled and the egg hunt scheduled for Saturday has been rescheduled for March 31.

Talk

The Friends of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River will host a talk led by Maggie and Rod Walker with Blue Ridge PRISM about invasive plants in the Shenandoah River Valley at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul’s Heritage Center in Edinburg.

NAMI

The NAMI Family and Friends Support Group, for family, friends and caregivers of adults with various types of mental illness, will meet from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 411 N. Cameron St. Winchester, second floor.

Open house

The Warren Memorial Hospital Gift Shop will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday to celebrate its new shop. Featured will be raffle baskets and refreshments.

 

Auditions

The Rouss Center for the Arts is conducting auditions for its upcoming play “Virgil and the City Slickers” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 30 and 31 at 9357 N. Congress St, New Market.

Cash party

The Woodstock Lions Club will hold its annual Cash Party from 5:45 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Yellow Barn at Shenandoah Caverns.

Bingo

The Strasburg Midget Football League will host a Vera Bradley and 31 Bag bingo night at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Moose Lodge, 572 Red Bud Road, Strasburg.

Concert

The Winchester Women of the Moose will host the Fabulous Hubcaps in concert from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Winchester Family Center, 201 Cedarmeade Ave., Winchester.

Workshop

The Blue Ridge Arts Council will host a quilting workshop led by Deb Booth from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at 305 E. Main St., Front Royal.

Egg-stravaganza

An Easter egg-stravaganza, featuring the Easter Bunny, hay rides, and crafts, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Warren County Health & Human Services Café, 465 W. 15th St., Front Royal.

Concerts

The Lebanon-St. Stephen’s Community Choir, under the direction of Marcy Bauserman, will present its annual Easter concerts at 7 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church in Wheatfield and Sunday at the Toms Brook United Methodist Church.
