Local agencies and nonprofit organizations are hosting a Volunteer Fair from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Warren County Community Center in Front Royal.
Essentially a trade show for local service providers, area residents interested in volunteering will be able to “shop” for a place to give back to the community. There will also be door prizes and demonstrations by local volunteer fire departments.

Samuels Public Library in Front Royal will host Vibes in the Libes featuring the Winchester Celtic Circle at 12:30 p.m. Friday. Those attending should bring a bag lunch.
Beth El Congregation will host a Family Shabbat to celebrate new members starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday at 520 Fairmont Ave., Winchester.
Afterward, there will be a dairy potluck at 7 p.m. and services led by Rabbi Peter Grumbacher with blessings for people celebrating birthdays in May. An Oneg Shabbat, reception, will follow with cake and ice cream.
Shenandoah County Master Gardeners will be available to answer home horticulture questions from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the Extension office in Woodstock. Information: 540-459-6140.
The Blue Ridge Singers will present its spring concert “To Music” at 7:30 pm. Friday at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church.
The program centerpiece will be Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Serenade to Music.” Other music will include Renaissance pieces, folk songs and spirituals. Admission is free, although a $10 donation is suggested. Information: www.blueridgesingers.com.
