Fun Nights

Strasburg Assembly of God will host Fun Nights at 6:30 p.m. today and every Friday through August at 556 Ash St. Information: 540-869-5081.



The Conicville Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual carnival from 4 to 10 p.m. today and Saturday and July 20-22 and 28.

Activities include kids games, nightly bingo and a parade at 7 p.m. on July 20. Live music includes The Red Handed Band today, Walnut Ridge Boys on Saturday, Thrash ‘n Holler on July 21 and Stone Rollin on July 28. Raffle tickets available at Town & Country Superette in Conicville. Information: 540-481-0668.


The Strasburg Adult Active Fellowship will meet at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church. Jack Moody will present the program “Sinkhole Mania.” Members are asked to bring a covered dish for the luncheon and a non-perishable item for the food pantry or an item for the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter. Outdoor movie

An outdoor movie showing the film “Cars 3” will be shown at 8:45 p.m. Thursday on the lawn of the old Frederick County Court House on the Loudoun Street Mall in Winchester. Information: 540-662-4946.


Gazebo Flix

“The Incredibles” will be shown at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Gazebo in Front Royal.
