The annual Lindamood family reunion will be held Sunday at the Hudson Cross Roads Community Center. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane will host an exhibit on the Save the Monarch Butterfly Initiative from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday through Sept. 30. Visitors will be able to see the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. Information: 540-592-3556 or visit email@example.com.

Aug. 30 is the deadline to register for the following line dance classes sponsored by Shenandoah County Parks and Recreation from Sept. 6 for eight weeks at the Historic Courthouse in Woodstock:
- 55 and older: Thursdays at 2:45 p.m. for beginners (dance experience required) or 4 p.m., for absolute beginners (no dance experience), instructor Connie Daniels, $45.
- 10 and older: Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. (no dance experience) or 7:30 p.m. for beginner to intermediate, instructor Connie Daniels, $49.
