Shenandoah County Fair offers 100th anniversary merchandise
The Shenandoah County Fair will celebrate it’s 100th anniversary this year and will commemorate the occasion with special merchandise.
Tom Eshelman, general manager of the fair, said boosters will be selling T-shirts, hats, 100th anniversary commemorative Christmas ornaments, 1925 limited edition logo panel trucks in a collector’s box, a 100th anniversary cookbook featuring recipes from the entire county, a 2018 almanac with logo, a limited edition stamped pottery pitcher, memorial bricks for a dedicated patio at the main walk-in entrance, private label water bottles and memorial trees.
He added that the merchandise is already available for ordering, but with limited quantities available.
“There is huge interest,” he said. “An exclusive preorder opportunity was issued to all fair shareholders and we received a great response. In addition, our volunteers believe that everything will sell, especially because many of the items are of limited quantity and will also make great Christmas presents.”
Merchandise not sold during pre-selling will be offered at an information booth during the fair. The fair will be held Aug. 25 through Sept. 2 at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds in Woodstock.
