The Rotary Club of New Market will hold a luncheon meeting at noon Wednesday at the Shenvalee Golf Resort in Miller Grille.

St. John’s Lutheran Church in Winchester will host “Mocha and a Message,” a contemporary worship service with coffee and dessert, at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The Shenandoah Valley Quilters Guild will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sunnyside Retirement Community in Harrisonburg.
Debe Thomas from Patchwork Plus will present a program on picture piecing. There will also be show and tell, a raffle and refreshments.

The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is participating in the USDA’s free summer food service program for children at risk of going hungry beginning Monday through July 20 at Lutheran Family Services, 250 First Woods Drive, Winchester.
A morning snack will be served from 10 to 10:15 a.m. and an afternoon snack will be served from 1:45 to 2 p.m.

• Katherine Hyde will be a music teacher at Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary School.
• Caitlin Himelright will be an art and music teacher at A.S. Rhodes Elementary School.
• Bethany Kelly will be an English teacher at Skyline Middle School.
• Ashley Mitchell will be a fourth-grade teacher at Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary School.
