Gazebo Flix

Gazebo Flix will show the movie “Rogue One” at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Gazebo in Front Royal.



The Shepherd’s Closet at First Assembly of God is offering clothing at no cost from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday and June 21, 23 and 24 at 111 N. Shenandoah Ave., Front Royal. There are no item limits.



The Friends of Handley Regional Library will sponsor a book drop-off from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Bowman Library in Stephens City for the book sale on June 22-24.

Visitors can drop off books, CDs and DVDs. Information: 540-662-9041.



North Warren Fire and Rescue will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at 89 Rockland Road, Front Royal.

Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for ages 4-12 and free for ages 3 and under.



Over 20 crafters and vendors will be featured at a craft show sponsored by Matthew’s Place Youth Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 33859 Old Valley Pike, Strasburg. The organization will also be collecting gently-worn shoes. Information: Maggie at 540-325-0757.



Lord’s Chapel Church will hold a pancake breakfast from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at 2049 Belgravia Road, Edinburg. A free-will offering will be accepted.



The Mt. Jackson-Edinburg Rotary Club will sell barbecued chicken starting at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at the barbecue pit in Basye near the entrance to Bryce Resort.

Proceeds will support the Polio Plus Program.



The Vietnam Veterans of America Shenandoah County chapter 936 will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at Denny’s in Mount Jackson. The chapter meets on the third Saturday of each month.



Samuels Public Library in Front Royal will host Swords & Rockets, a book discussion group for those interested in sci-fi and fantasy, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

St. John’s United Church of Christ will hold an indoor lawn party beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday at 1010 Headquarters Road, Hamburg. The party will be held rain or shine.



Maurertown Brethren Church will hold vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The theme is “Camp Out-Getting S’Mores of Jesus.”

Strasburg Presbyterian Church will hold vacation Bible school from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Sunday through June 22 for children in kindergarten through the sixth grade. The theme is “Hero Central: Discover Your Strength in God.”
