FRONT ROYAL – Triss, an all black female cat at the Humane Society of Warren County, is looking for a forever home with room to play.

Michael Kerns, feline team leader at the shelter, said Triss was brought into the shelter Oct. 16 because of a flea allergy. Triss will need to be on flea medication to prevent allergic reactions.

He said Triss is only a couple of years old, all black with green eyes, who still loves to swat around a toy and play. He warns that Triss can be temperamental at times and still bites when she plays.

He recommended a home without young children and a home without other animals or with older animals that will leave Triss alone. She would make a great indoor or outdoor cat in an environment with little stress.

Triss is a “really affectionate” cat who willing rubs up against you wanting to be peted and played with and will purr with satisfaction.

Triss is up-to-date on her vaccinations and is spayed. Her adoption fee is $10 this month due to a special the shelter is having throughout June.

For more information on Triss, contact the Humane Society of Warren at 1245 Progress Drive in Front Royal, by calling 540-635-4734 or by going online to www.humanesocietywarrencounty.org.
