The Strasburg Kiwanis Club will host a free community pool party at 6:30 p.m. today at the town pool. Free food (hotdogs, chips, small drink, and popsicles) will be available.
North Warren Fire and Rescue will hold an all-you-can-eat-pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for ages 4-12 and free for ages 3 and younger.
The Humane Society of Warren County will be accepting old computers, cell phones and other electronic equipment for recycling from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday through July 22 at the Julia Wagner Animal Shelter, 1245 Progress Drive, Front Royal.
Items not accepted include large computer monitors and TVs, floor model copiers and satellite dishes. Information: 540-635-4734.
The annual Markley and Hottel families will hold a reunion starting at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Hotteltown homestead, 463 Hotteltown Lane, Edinburg.

The families of the late Martin and Elva Bauserman will hold a reunion at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Mt. Olive Parish House. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Eating utensils will be furnished.
The family of Gertie S. Dellinger will hold a reunion at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Rotary shelter at W.O. Riley Park in Woodstock. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and an item(s) for the picnic walk after lunch.
Nature Rangers Camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through July 21. Campers should meet at the Shenandoah County Government Center in Woodstock for transportation to and from the various sites.
Warren County Parks and Recreation and Warren County High School will host a cross country camp from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through July 22 for ages 11-18.
Guest speakers will cover topics on training, footwear, diet and injury prevention. The camp will conclude with a 5K at Rockland Park.

Balloon bending and tricks with Johnny-O will be the fourth program of the Valley Reads Special Presenters series at all branches of Handley Regional Library. Programs will be held:

• Handley Library, Winchester: 2 p.m., Monday.
• Bowman Library, Stephens City: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Tuesday.
